On February 17, I flew over Fairbanks, covered with cirrus clouds. At altitude 2,000 meters, the small aircraft Navajo Piper suddenly passed through the layer of clouds that concealed the sky from the ground. It exposed the whole mountain range, skeleton of the earth, that rejects living things, far beyond the level ground for humankind and the area where plants can grow.

At the summit, you can see the strictness of nature: the wind. I could imagine how hostile the wind was, as I heard that the air pressure in Denali during the severe winter is pretty low, and a wind of 50 meters per second blows. But, it attracted me profoundly. I leaned forward and stared at the towered majestic.
